JURISDICTION: The Senate Select Committee on Privacy studies the full range of personal privacy questions generated by social, economic, legal, scientific, and technological change. The policy issues it examines include, but are not limited to: identity theft and information security, government collection, use and storage of personal information, and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID).
